Position Type: Administrator - Campus/Assistant Principal Date Posted: 3/14/2025 Location: District Wide Middle School Date Available: July 2025 Description: The Quinnite School Network (QSN) Assistant Principal of Student Activities and Special Services is responsible for overseeing the Special Education (SPED) department, ensuring compliance with ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) procedures, and managing the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to address student needs. They will also provide leadership for Advanced Academics, ensuring the success of high-achieving students. Additionally, this role includes oversight of extracurricular activities, including after-school programming and athletics, to foster student engagement and school spirit. The Assistant Principal will collaborate with staff, parents, and community partners to create a well-rounded educational experience for all students. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Master's degree in Education Administration Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate T- TESS Certified Appraiser Major Responsibilities and Duties: • Proven experience in serving as departmental chair, ARD facilitator, or in another leadership capacity related to special education • Strong background in managing IEP development, compliance monitoring, and working with families and district-level Special Services department

• Ability to train staff on legal compliance and best practices.

• Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
• Salary will be adjusted to the start date

Program Stipend: • Stipends include additional days during the program academic year as outlined in the stipend agreement
